Current Vacancies - March 2010

Counsellors
We are currently seeking adults who are keen to help children and young people as a professional telephone counsellor and are willing and able to work 15 hours each week and successfully complete our 350 hour training programme.

Our Counsellors are paid, closely supervised and extensively trained in all aspects of telephone counselling. This is a great opportunity to get excellent, paid training and supervised experience in counselling children
and young people.

A qualification in the caring professions is an advantage but not as important as the willingness to:

  1. provide a high standard of telephone counselling to
    children and young people;

  2. engage in a process of rigorous professional training,
    development and supervision;

  3. work rostered shifts, including some on weekends and until midnight.
